August 9, 16 & 23: Summer Friends – Kingdom Quest Begins!
Get your kids ready for an epic adventure! This year Summer Friends, for kids in Pre-K through 5th grade, will run from 6:00-8:30 pm on select Sunday evenings in August. Our theme is Kingdom Quest: An Epic Journey to Discover God’s Kingdom. Through games, music, Bible stories, crafts, and plenty of fun, kids will explore what it means to follow Jesus and live as part of God’s amazing Kingdom. The best part? August 10: Red Cross Summer Blood Drive
Grace Church will sponsor a summer blood drive from 1:00-6:00 pm in the Palmer Room. The room location has changed in order to accommodate additional blood collection equipment. Giving blood is easy and can be completed in about an hour. In order to donate, you must be in good health, feeling well on the day of donation, and not have made a whole blood donation since June 14 or a double red donation in the previous 16 weeks. Rita’s water ice will be served, and the Red Cross provides a $20 ecard for each successful donation. Appointments are preferred and can be scheduled here. Be a summertime LIFESAVER and make a blood donation!
Sunday at Grace
Worship – Join us in the sanctuary at 10:00 am for Sunday worship. Please feel free to dress casually, coming as you are.
Coffee and Fellowship – Then come to the Palmer Room after worship for a refreshment and a time to gather and greet friends.
Second Hour Education – Following Worship and Coffee, feel free to stay for our educational offerings:
11:15-12:00: Adult Education Class (all ages); Chapel, Rev. Brian Russo
11:15-12:00: Confirmation Class (9th-12th grade); Youth Room, Joel Bielefeldt
11:15-11:45: Youth Choir (grades 3rd – 8th) Choir Room, on select Sundays* Valerie Clayton
