Weekly Bible Study
Plan to join us from 12:00-1:00 pm in the Palmer Room for our weekly Bible Study. Please bring your Bible and lunch.
May 3: Adult Ed Second Hour Class – Surprising Hymn Writers
Join us following the 10:00 worship service in the Community Room for the final class in this series being led by Betsy Zimmermann. We will learn and discuss some of the amazing hymn writers who have written or inspired the songs, lyrics, and poetry of Christian hymns including:
• A 12th century mystic with a surprising take on the personhood of God.
• A blind writer who published so many hymns, scholars are unable to accurately count them.
• A translator who quietly saved an entire genre from disappearing.
May 10: Music Ministry Recognition Sunday
Join us in the 10:00 am worship service as we recognize and celebrate our Grace members and friends who share their gift of music with Grace!
May 15: Super Smash Bros Tournament – Youth Fundraiser
This tournament is open for anyone 8 to 18 years of age. The entrance fee is $15, and all proceeds will go towards the youth summer mission trips. All youth are invited to come and bring friends. Click here to sign up or contact Joel for more information.
May 17: Congregational Meeting to Elect Officers
There will be a brief congregational meeting in the sanctuary following the 10:00 am service with the purpose of electing new elders and deacons. Elected officers will then be ordained and installed during a worship service in September.
Sunday at Grace
Worship – Join us in the sanctuary at 10:00 am for Sunday worship. Please feel free to dress casually, coming as you are.
Coffee and Fellowship – Then come to the Palmer Room after worship for a refreshment and a time to gather and greet friends.
Second Hour Education – Following Worship and Coffee, feel free to stay for our educational offerings:
11:15-12:00: Adult Education Class (all ages); Chapel, Rev. Brian Russo
11:15-12:00: Confirmation Class (9th-12th grade); Youth Room, Joel Bielefeldt
11:15-11:45: Youth Choir (grades 3rd – 8th) Choir Room, on select Sundays* Valerie Clayton
11:15-11:45: Cherub Choir (ages 4- 2nd grade); Bell Room, Ruth Fulleborn
