Weekly Bible Study
Plan to join us from 12:00-1:00 pm in the Palmer Room for our weekly Bible Study. Please bring your Bible and lunch.
April 12, 26 & May 3: Adult Ed Second Hour Class – Surprising Hymn Writers
Join us following the 10:00 worship service in the Community Room for this series being led by Betsy Zimmermann. We will learn and discuss some of the amazing hymn writers who have written or inspired the songs, lyrics, and poetry of Christian hymns including:
• A 12th century mystic with a surprising take on the personhood of God.
• A blind writer who published so many hymns, scholars are unable to accurately count them.
• A translator who quietly saved an entire genre from disappearing.
April 18 & 19: Congregational Service Weekend
Join the Mission Team for a congregational service weekend on April 18 and 19. On Saturday, April 18, we will travel to Old First Church in Philadelphia (151 N 4th St) to support the Breakfast Ministry and Clothing Cupboard. Please click here to sign-up. Plan to join us, following the worship service on Sunday, April 19, for a service day at Grace with a choice of supporting three different activities in Muyskens Hall. We will prepare snack bags for the Breathing Room Foundation, sort children’s books for OHAAT, and a small delegation will visit the Jenkintown Food Cupboard to sort food items. Please sign up here to donate snack bag items. We will also collect gently used books for children and teenagers. Drop items in the Palmer Room collection bin by April 19.
Sunday at Grace
Worship – Join us in the sanctuary at 10:00 am for Sunday worship. Please feel free to dress casually, coming as you are.
Coffee and Fellowship – Then come to the Palmer Room after worship for a refreshment and a time to gather and greet friends.
Second Hour Education – Following Worship and Coffee, feel free to stay for our educational offerings:
11:15-12:00: Adult Education Class (all ages); Chapel, Rev. Brian Russo
11:15-12:00: Confirmation Class (9th-12th grade); Youth Room, Joel Bielefeldt
11:15-11:45: Youth Choir (grades 3rd – 8th) Choir Room, on select Sundays* Valerie Clayton
