May 10: Music Ministry Recognition Sunday
Join us in the 10:00 am worship service as we recognize and celebrate our Grace members and friends who share their gift of music with Grace!
May 15: Super Smash Bros Tournament – Youth Fundraiser
This tournament is open for anyone 8 to 18 years of age. The entrance fee is $15, and all proceeds will go towards the youth summer mission trips. All youth are invited to come and bring friends. Click here to sign up or contact Joel for more information.
May 17: Congregational Meeting to Elect Officers
There will be a brief congregational meeting in the sanctuary following the 10:00 am service with the purpose of:
1) electing new elders and deacons. Elected officers will then be ordained and installed during a worship service in September. Click here to find the slate of nominated officers and members of the Nominating Committee.
2) presenting a Motion to Amend our current Ecclesiastical Bylaws to introduce flexibility into the number of serving Elders and Deacons. Currently, our Bylaws state that we have a fixed number of 12 Elders and up to 12 Deacons serving at any given time. We would like to change these provisions so that we can have a range of 10-14 Elders and 10-14 Deacons serving at any given time, to meet the evolving needs of our Congregation. Sunday at Grace
Worship – Join us in the sanctuary at 10:00 am for Sunday worship. Please feel free to dress casually, coming as you are.
Coffee and Fellowship – Then come to the Palmer Room after worship for a refreshment and a time to gather and greet friends.
Second Hour Education – Following Worship and Coffee, feel free to stay for our educational offerings:
11:15-12:00: Adult Education Class (all ages); Chapel, Rev. Brian Russo
11:15-12:00: Confirmation Class (9th-12th grade); Youth Room, Joel Bielefeldt
11:15-11:45: Youth Choir (grades 3rd – 8th) Choir Room, on select Sundays* Valerie Clayton
11:15-11:45: Cherub Choir (ages 4- 2nd grade); Bell Room, Ruth Fulleborn
