GRACE PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH

.

“For in Christ Jesus you are all children of God through faith. There is no longer Jew or Gentile, there is no longer slave or free, there is no longer male and female; for all of you are one in Christ Jesus.” – Galatians 3:26-28

Grace Presbyterian Church is an inclusive community of faith. We are all created in God’s image, and we are all the children of God. Jesus tells us: “Let children come to me, and do not stop them; for it is to such as these that the kingdom of God belongs (Luke 18:16).”

As Jesus welcomed all people into his fellowship, especially those who had been disenfranchised, outcasted, and marginalized, we welcome everyone into our church regardless of, and in celebration of, their race, gender, and orientation; identity, ability, and affiliation.

Therefore, we believe in the inherent dignity, value, and worth of every person, regardless of their race, sexual orientation, or gender identity. We affirm that the gospel transcends human divisions, and as we seek to embody the unity of Christ’s love; and so we advocate for justice, inclusion, and affirmation of everyone’s worth as beloved children of God.

All are able to worship, serve, and participate in the life and ministry of Grace and all are welcome to join the membership of our congregation. Following membership, all are able to gain eligibility towards becoming elders, deacons, and team leaders.

Every attempt will be made to ensure that Grace is a safe and welcoming space within and for our community. That also means for friends and neighbors of other traditions.

Here at Grace, we welcome interfaith dialog and diverse learning experiences, as we believe that all interactions are guided by the same Spirit in which God created the world. Though we personally find that Jesus Christ is our pathway to God, we encourage all discourse that leads to celebrating God’s goodness, benevolence, grace, and glory.
