Children's Ministry

at Grace Presbyterian Church

“We are committed to enabling and empowering each child to grow in age-appropriate Christian discipleship with the eyes of their hearts enlightened and with the spirit of wisdom and revelation.”

— Ephesians 1:17-18

Sunday School

Children delight in learning about God’s love  through active, age-appropriate, Bible-based lessons. We plan our lessons so that children are learning about the Bible and how to live out Christian values in their daily lives.

Year round, the children’s Sunday School classes run concurrently with the 10:00 am worship service. Children remain in the service for the first 15 minutes and engage in prayer and song with the rest of the congregation. Youth are invited to sit in the “Amen Pew” during the first part of worship with Pastors and other Church leadership. This enables them to have a front row view of all that is happening during the service. Following a special Word with the Children, teachers escort the  children to their appropriate classrooms.

All of our teachers and staff have current Pennsylvania Child Abuse Clearances on file in the office. The Session of Grace checks to ensure these clearances remain up to date and the staff and volunteers work diligently to ensure that our children are safe and well cared for.

Infant and Toddler Care

Warm and loving childcare for infants 3 months old through 3 years old is available in the nursery (Lamb Room) on the upper level during the summer from 9:45 am-12:00 pm every Sunday. Parents are able to attend worship service and adult education during this time. We ask that parents with nursery age children remain in the building at all times.

Vacation Bible School
